71280 Series utilizes Model 71325 hidden inside the optic housing. Optic lens is intended to be flush mounted to skin of aircraft (Black portion of assembly remaining inside aircraft). Assembly deflects light in one direction (off angle illumination), creating the hot spot 20 degrees behind center viewing. Housing constructed from polycarbonate with an aluminum back plate (see 71325). Optimized for 28VDC, will operate from 14-28VDC.
